Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP), a multifaceted community action agency, is seeking a full-time, 12-month Health & Family Services Manager to support the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Franklin and Patrick Counties, VA. This position oversees the health and family services components of the program, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing requirements. Responsibilities include supervising Health and Family Service staff; tracking medical, dental, developmental, and referral requirements for enrolled children; coordinating services with community providers; and supporting family engagement and wellness services. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Care Management, Special Education, or a related field, and/or a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, along with experience working with young children, including children with disabilities. Applicants must pass a background check and complete required certifications. The salary range for this position is $52,500.00–$63,209.81 per year, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.
