Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP) is seeking a full-time Health Advocate to support the health needs of children and families enrolled in the Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Working under the supervision of the Health & Family Services Manager, this role assists with tracking immunizations, physicals, health screenings, and follow-up care; supports families in establishing medical and dental homes; and helps ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. The Health Advocate also supports on-site health, dental, and vision screenings and collaborates with families, program staff, and community providers to promote child wellness. Previous medical or healthcare-related experience is required. An Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Health, or a related field, and/or CNA certification is required. The salary range for this position is $18.78 – $22.30 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
